Below i have created a mind map of Thriller Conventions and i believe the three thriller trailers above show these characteristics strongly but due to the different sub-genre of each piece a lot of conventions can be challenged or developed , conventions are the characteristics and typical contents of a specific genre of media, I have split these conventions into:

Conventions of Thriller Films

 This research and Mind Map will help me get a better understanding of the Thriller genre and help me to produce a much more focussed and professional final Thriller product, i will be now be able to keep my product within the Thriller genre rather than straying into similar genres such as horror. I will meet with my group members to discuss these conventions and how we can use, develop and challenge them and discuss the product we can ultimately produce.
